Why LDV exists
Every year, thousands of patents and working prototypes with real commercial potential never reach production. Not because the technology fails, but because the connection between inventor and manufacturer never forms. Founders do not know which door to knock on. Corporate R&D teams do not have the bandwidth to search. And when the two do meet, they negotiate past each other.
LDV Innovations was founded to be that connection: a consultancy that understands the engineering, respects the intellectual property, and knows how to structure an agreement both sides will still be happy with in year three.
We work at the intersection of technology and commerce, spending our days in conversation with R&D directors, founders, patent attorneys, and corporate development teams. That vantage point lets us see matches neither side would find alone.

Four principles
- Both sides must win. A deal that only serves one party will fail in execution. We structure for durability, not just for signature.
- Confidentiality is absolute. Every mandate and technology disclosure is handled under strict NDA discipline, with clear rules on what moves between parties.
- Speed is a feature. Innovation has a shelf life. Competitors file patents, funding runs out, and roadmaps move on. Our process is built to keep deals moving.
- Honesty over fees. If a technology is not ready, or a match will not work, we say so early. A short engagement that ends well is worth more than a long one that ends badly.
